Central Glass International Architecttural Design Competition 2005 (A Town Landmark)
This competition asked for a landmark in Tokyo. HUNK-design figured that while there is an abundance of buildings with landmark qualities and an absolute lack of public spaces in this crowded city, the proposed landmark should be a square.
Inspired by the pedestrian bridges, target Tokyo is a hovering square above the busy crossing of the Omotesando and the Mejidori, two of Tokyo’s busiest streets.
