After a rainy day houses in Tokyo get adorned with umbrellas. Houses are too small to let them dry in and while there is hardly any petty theft there is need to worry about losing them.
Umbrellas come really cheap and looking at the collection of umbrellas some people keep it looks like that with every rainy day they buy a new one.
